DaniGee’s V-Day Guide

Love is in the air or is that the Flu?? I am going to go with Love. This is my first official Valentine’s Day with my lady love. I wanted to do something extra special and be all lovey dovey, you know roses, candlelight dinner but that didn’t really sound like us. I felt stuck but I realized that I was overthinking as usual! I am going to share my ideas (questions) of what I have  decided to do for my wife.

Her Likes

Toya likes my cooking. I question her sanity, when she wants me to cook but she claims it’s really good. For her birthday, she wanted wings with BWW’s Asian Zing sauce and Rotel dip. She raved and raved on it, so I am fairly confident that she wouldn’t mind this for V-Day. She also likes fuzzy socks and comfort clothing.

Things She Have Mentioned in General Conversations

Toya doesn’t talk about a lot of things so if she mentions she really wants something, I pay extra attention. We were watching The Hobbit and she mentioned that she wanted to get the 2nd one to complete her collection. I took that tidbit and stored it for a later date. She also watches a lot of dog videos but we ain’t ready for that type of commitment yet.

Things That Pull at Her Heartstrings

When Toya and I was apart, we would send each other 5 page letters. She would always tell me how excited she would get when she would receive a letter from me and the same goes for me. This Valentine I will personalize my card for her and make sure that she knows that what she does for us doesn’t go unnoticed.

Rollercoasters are for people who have never been in love; they want to know how it feels to just fall.
